Stroke survivor and heart surgery recovery

In June 2022 Rochelle suffered a ischemic stroke and was in hospital not knowing if she could speak or walk again. It was extremely challenging time but thankfully after some therapy and time Rochelle was back to doing the things she loved and was painting again. However it was found that the cause of her stroke had been a ASD hole in the heart and required heart surgery to close the hole. In August 2022 Rochelle had heart surgery which was successful in closing the hole. The road to recovery from the surgery has been up and down but Rochelle has now fully recovered and would now like to raise awareness on strokes and ASD holes in the heart.

Rochelle would like to donate 20% of the profits from the Tahiti prints to the British heart foundation and 20% of the profits from the Moorea prints to the Stroke association.

Rochelle worked collaboratively with a fine art specialist based near her art studio in Cornwall to create a new range of limited edition prints. Each one is scanned and colour corrected by hand to create truly stunning prints that last a lifetime - even in direct sunlight!
